PENALTY DUE ON DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES

Indiana Law (IC 6-1.1-37-10) requires the County Treasurer to add a late payment penalty to the unpaid portions of the amounts due for each installment of Property taxes.  The penalty will be in the amount of 5% of the unpaid tax if the installment is completely paid on or before the 30 days after the due date and you are not liable for delinquent property taxes first due and payable in a previous installment for the same parcel...
