The Adult Choir of Evangelical United Methodist Church will present their annual Christmas musical on Thursday, December 15th and Friday, December 16th at 7:00 p.m., and on Sunday, December 18th at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.  This year, the choir will be performing Shine on Us, created by David Guthrie and Robert Sterling.  This musical incorporates traditional Christmas music with some contemporary, upbeat selections.  Along with favorite Christmas songs like Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and Angels from the Realms of Glory, new selections like Wonderful One, Hope is Born, Joy, I Have Seen the Light, Shine on Us, Come, Emmanuel, and A King Is Born make this a wonderful cantata that truly expresses why we celebrate the season.

The choir has been working since September to present this Christmas gift to the community.  The choir, under the direction of Mark Kiefer, includes Courtney Byerly, Ron Carnes, Allison Christman, Nondus Christman, Charlotte Coble, Norma Fisher, Glenda Giggy, Judy Harrell, Bob Jennings, Susy Jennings, Vickie Kiefer, Lynda Laatsch, Sharon Laupp, Marti Lundy, Connie Marshall, Doug McElhaney, Drew McElhaney, Janice McElhaney, Jeana McElhaney, Tom McElhaney, Phyllis Piper, Tom Rudig, and Myra Sturm.  Narrators are Kathy Carnes and Sam Wright.  The sound technician is Nathan Lundy.  All performances are open to the public, and no tickets are required.  A freewill offering will be received.  Evangelical United Methodist Church is located at 1000 Flaxmill Road.
