Discovery Church: Mythbusters

Do you want to know the truth about church, what it really means to be a member, or why church even matters? If so, you are invited to join us at the Evangelical United Methodist Church for our four week series called “Discovery Church: Mythbusters.” Each week we will be exploring a church myth; breaking it down, and deciding whether it’s fact or myth. This week, January 15^th, at 8:30a.m. or 10:30a.m. Rev. Marti Lundy will be breaking down the myth: “Going to church gets me to Heaven” It’s all about presence. Rev. Marti will be discussing the difference between attendance and presence. The steps we all must take to get closer to God.

Join us Sunday at 1000 Flaxmill Rd in Huntington. Traditional Worship begins at 8:30am and Modern Worship begins at 10:30am. Sunday school classes for pre-k through adults at 9:30am. We look forward to seeing you in worship this Sunday!
