A message from ACC

Submitted by Pastor Jeff Carrell - You are fearfully and wonderfully made, so rejoice and know you are very special! So many times we rush through life taking so much for granted. We so often harp on the things that are going wrong, but what if we stopped everyday and thanked God for all the blessings?  Do you think maybe our attitude and out- look on life would be different?  Our attitude will determine our altitude in life. If there is a major mindset that I will try to engrave into all of us is the idea of family.  God is certainly at work at The ACC and designing a family that can carry out His vision for our region!  Guys we love each other with the love of Christ and treat each other like Christ has taught us to do. No more organizational or business mindset in the church of God Almighty. If we can adopt the love of God with each other it will become so contagious throughout our community. This community is truly looking for a God produced family to be a part of. Are you ready to show this community the family of God?

Thanks to everyone who has committed to being involved in a connection group. True relationships and family are being built and I am also thankful for all the leaders who have stepped up and opened up their homes. Don’t forget about the empty chair prayer time. Put an empty chair in the middle of the group and everyone write down a name on a card of who you would like to see in your group that is not presently there.

A big thank-you and welcome to our newest staff member, Chris Walker. She has been coming to our church nearly from the very beginning. We have all watched her passion for our children and for people. Let’s all support and help Chris make our children’s ministry the best it can be.

Parents, may I ask you to help me make sure your teens (6th-12th grades) are at church on Sunday evenings at 6 for EMPACT?  God is moving in a special way in many of our teens lives and we really need your teen here if they are currently not attending. Do you realize all the challenges that they face in today’s society? Allow us to help bring good news to their life and lend an ear to listen when they need one.  I would greatly encourage you to make this a top priority!

Ladies that have signed up to attend our Women of Worship weekend get a way will be meeting immediately following the Sunday morning service to give you an informational flyer!  I can’t wait to see how God is going to work throughout this amazing weekend!

This Sunday morning we will continue in the series of Champions, but this week will be monumental to the direction of our church.  I will bring everyone up to date on how this journey was birthed and where God is leading us in our future!   Please make every effort to be here as I share with our ACC family the vision and challenge God has laid out for our church and also our community.  Can’t wait to see you on Sunday morning at 10!  You may want to come a bit early to stop by our coffee bar and fellowship with your ACC family!

Love in Christ,
Jeff

Hi Jeff, How is that book coming that you were writing a year ago? Is it finished yet?
