LAC recognizes HNHS Artists of the Month

Four Huntington North High School Senoirs were recognized by the LaFontaine Arts Council as Artists of the Month recently.  Honored in April were Zach Allen, Alex Stanley, Andrea Broxon and Andrea Shriner.

Campus qualifys as Hoosier Star Finalist

The 2012-13 Huntington North High School The Campus newspaper has been named a Hoosier Star finalist in the annual competition sponsored by the Indiana High School Press Association (IHSPA).

HNHS DECA Club in Competition

The Huntington North DECA Club was involved in the district competition at Fort Wayne Snider HS, on January 19th.  The students did very well competing in a role play situation as well as a written test in their particular field.  We had two 1st place teams; Chad Wingo and Andrew Sizemore competing in Financial Services, and Kole Hale and Luke Doughty competing in Marketing Communications... Spanish students learn Mexican Culture

The Indiana Department of Education has released 2011-2012 letter grades for schools in the Huntington County Community School Corporation. The IDOE adopted the new A-F evaluation system last year.

Marching Vikes achieve Gold
