Northeast will host a “Navistar TAA-Eligible College Fair” Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 2 to 7 p.m. at The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center on Ivy Tech’s North Campus (4900 St. Joe Road).
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) is available to dislocated or soon-to-be dislocated Navistar workers and is administered through WorkOne Northeast. This assistance may help workers find opportunities like new, renewed or continued education at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast and ensure the retention of talented individuals in northeast Indiana. Eligible workers include workers of the Navistar Truck Development and Technology Center and the Navistar Truck Reliability Center, along with contract workers from Populous Group, Livernois Vehicle Development, ASG Renaissance and Alpha Rae Personnel Inc.
