Lancers study Johnny Appleseed

Lancaster Elementary School first graders are studying Johnny Appleseed.
During their studies the children enjoyed different apple treats, learning about Johnny Appleseed and "Where in the USA" he was by incorporating songs, finger plays, language arts and math activities.
The Johnny Appleseed unit of study was culminated by celebrating his birthday with t-shirt apple prints, an apple press in action, apple plates, and apple mobiles.
