Lincoln Elementary School announces the 2nd annual Heith Garner Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner and Talent show! The Dinner and Talent Show will be held Thursday October 13, 2011 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm in the Lincoln Elementary cafeteria and gym. All proceeds from this dinner go directly to the Lincoln Elementary Heith Garner Scholarship Fund.

The Lincoln Elementary Heith Garner Scholarship was started in 1997, in honor of a former Lincoln student who died in an automobile accident.  Heith Garner was active in the community, volunteering at the YMCA as a teenager.  He was the son of Don and Angie Garner of Huntington, who help present this award every spring.
The scholarships are awarded to Huntington North seniors who attended Lincoln Elementary School for three years or more, with the purpose of encouraging them to pursue college or technical school degrees after high school.
Lincoln Caring Families, the school mini mall project, Lincoln classrooms, teachers, and other individuals have contributed to the scholarship fund over the years.
Since 1997, over 75 former Lincoln students have been awarded more than $22,000 in all to further their college educations.

Please join us for a fun evening of good food and exceptional talent from the Lincoln Elementary students and staff.
