At Roanoke Elementary School, they have several Spring Enrichment classes. One of those enrichment classes is entitled "Plaster Fun Spot". From December 7th –18th 2009 Roanoke Student Council sold a favorite to their school, Santa Suckers!

The fifth grade students at Roanoke had there own "Boston Tea Party" as part of studying the American Revolution. During the tea party, students wrote letters to the King of England asking him to quit taxing colonial items.
