1st Day is Beach Day

Some of the classes here at Roanoke started their school year out right by having "Beach Day", The afternoon was filled with various beach day activities. Students were challenged to pick up shells out of buckets of water using only their toes. They raced to looked for seashells that were hidden under cones and went on a scavenger hunt for seashells. They rode paper boogie boards that they had designed themselves. It was a great way to start enother exciting year at Roanoke Elementary School.
