Spring is Here!

A celebration of spring was held in Mrs. Cathy Geyer's kindergarten classroom on Thursday, April 21st.  Parent volunteers helped the children graph Easter eggs and jelly beans, weigh eggs, measure the length of egg cut-outs, and color eggs.  Students also put springtime words in alphabetical order and unscrambled letters to spell words that related to the theme.  They also wove placemats, which were made into Easter Baskets and  they concluded all activities with an egg hunt.
