From May 19th through the 22nd, 92 Salamonie 7th and 8th grade students spent four days on a trip to Washington D.C. Some of the sights the students visited were: The Holocaust Museum, the Newseum, Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetary-including watching the changing of the guard ceremony and wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Ford's Theatre, Mount Vernon Estate, the White House, the Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean Memorial, and the Iwo Jima Monument...
