Salamonie Students Load Supplies

Salamonie students help Principal Rick Reed in loading supplies for delivery to Mission of Hope in Haiti.  Mission of Hope is an orphanage, hospital and school in the quake ravaged country.  Mission of Hope's President is former Huntington resident Brad Johnson.  Mission of Hope has been in Haiti for the past 12 years and is therefore in a unique position to serve the people of Haiti in this desperate time of need.

Social Studies students from across the county have donated much needed medical supplies to support the Mission. More information regarding the Mission of Hope can be found at the following website: www.missionofhope.org

Pictured with Principal Reed are Mr. Mark Buzzard, and Salamonie students Amanda Pugh, Bailey Martin and Tianna Caudill.
