Huntington County Assessor, Terri Boone, is reminding residents that the State’s General Reassessment began July 1, 2010. The information gathered during the general reassessment will be applicable for taxes due and payable in 2013. Because of the hours involved in physically verifying information, the county is only expected to complete 25 percent of the properties every six months, with the final inspections being completed by March 1, 2012...
