Former Confinement Officer Arrested

The Indiana State Police arrested a former Huntington County Confinement Officer following a two month long investigation stemming from allegations of excessive use of force against a handcuffed prisoner.
According to Detective Kent Havens, on April 17th of this year, a male prisoner in the Huntington County Jail was handcuffed, placed into a holding cell for disciplinary reasons and was allegedly battered by a confinement officer... Read More...

Fugitive Apprehended in Fort Wayne

The Steuben County fugitive wanted for murder, and who led Steuben County police on a chase into the state of Ohio yesterday was apprehended this afternoon in Fort Wayne after the vehicle he was traveling in tried to outrun police yet again.
