County Treasurer’s office Open Saturday May 7th for Tax Payments
Huntington County Treasurer’s office will be open Saturday, May 7th, 2011 from 8:00 am to 12:00 o’clock noon to accept property tax payments. Taxpayers may bring in their tax bills for payment at that time. The Treasurer’s office opens on the Saturday before the Tax Deadline each year for the convenience of the taxpayer.
Huntington Counties tax due date is MAY 10, 2011. Taxes can be paid at several banks in the county, by mail and at the Court House, room 104. The hours at the Treasurer’s office are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30 pm. Taxpayers may also pay by Credit card. Credit cards are not accepted in the Treasurer’s office. Follow the instructions listed on the bottom of the tax statement to pay online or to call the 800 number for all Credit card tax payments.
The Treasurer’s office will be closed after the tax deadline, May 10th, for approximately a week to balance all on time payments.
