Waterloo Police Officer Shot

The Indiana State Police, along with numerous law enforcement agencies in and around DeKalb County have concluded their search for two people that are alleged to have shot a Waterloo police officer early this morning.

 

According to Detective Mark Heffelfinger and DeKalb County Prosecutor ClaraMary Winebrenner, sometime before 3:00 am, an unknown white male and white female went to a residence on County Road 35, just north of town, to seek assistance for a vehicle that was said to have been stuck in a ditch... 3 Arrested With Meth Lab in Ft. Wayne

A man from Ohio, a man from LaOtto and a woman from Auburn were arrested late last night at a local motel after Troopers found them with an active meth lab in their room.

Blast of Weather Keeps Troopers Busy

Troopers from the Fort Wayne Post of the Indiana State Police had to contend with the driving behaviors of motorists while making their way through the onslaught of weather that Mother Nature threw their way yesterday.

Man Arrested for Drunk Driving

A man from Ohio was arrested by the Indiana State Police on Thanksgiving Day for driving his vehicle, with two minor children, in excess of 100 miles per hour on I-69 while under the influence of alcohol.
