Property assessment deadline May 17th

Huntington County residents have until May 17 to turn in forms listing their taxable personal property. There will be no extensions granted. ALL FORMS ARE DUE MAY 17th. 2009 Tax asessment appeals

February 16th, 2010 was the deadline to file 2009 tax assessment appeals. The amount of appeals have decreased approximately 70%.

Three major changes have lead to this decrease:

1) My office stopped inheriting appeals from the now disbanded township assessor’s office
