Members of the governing bodies of Huntington County governmental entities, and other invited persons, meet periodically for a meal and to receive information and to discuss matters of common concern. The above special meeting is one such occasion.

Accordingly, quorums of the Common Council of the City of Huntington, the City of Huntington Board of Public Works and Safety, the Huntington County Board of Commissioners, the Huntington County Council, and the Town Councils of Andrews, Markle, Mt. Etna, Roanoke, and Warren may be present at the above referenced time and place.

This would be a great meeting for people involved in the Tea Party Movement to attend as the featured speakers will be presenting means by which local Indiana governments can blunt the effectiveness of the tax caps and reductions in income to governmental bodies that may occur when the tax caps take effect. And it is a public meeting even though you might be told otherwise.
