Michelle Hoover, a ninth grader at Canterbury High School, earned a Gold Key from the "National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2009" in the category of short stories with her work titled "Hot Ice”. The Huntington North Varsity Concert Choir traveled to Indianapolis on Saturday, May 9 and came away with a 14th place finish.
Perennial powerhouse North Central from Indianapolis won the state title with Goshen High School taking second.
