Awards increase Jill Dreyer Scholarship

Parkview Huntington Foundation’s board of directors has approved a policy change that increases the number of Jill Dreyer Scholarship awards from two to four each year. Relay for Life hot and wet, but HUGE!

Well, despite the rain... the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Kreigbaum Field was a HUGE success!
 
The Relay kicked off with a dove release and 75 survivors clothed in their purple t-shirts that made their way around the track for the traditional survivor's lap!  There were 34 fundraising teams and approximately 400 walkers that participated in over 18 hours of fun!
 
Thanks to all of those volunteers as well as the support of many businesses, they were able to raise more than $61,000 to fight that dreaded disease called cancer!

Sally Grimes was also awarded the Eunice Coates Award this year for being a special cancer survivor... Read More...
