Free Tax Preparation Program

Pathfinder Community Connections Free Tax Program Volunteer Tax Preparers took part in a tax training conducted by Denise Watts- Tax Consultant from the IRS (not pictured) and Cathy Thomas (pictured). Currently Pathfinder Community Connections has 70 people signed up for appointments and 29 volunteers have committed their time to participate as tax preparers. Pathfinder Community Connections is offering free tax preparation if the household income was less than $50,000 in 2011. Taxes are all prepared for free and participants may be eligible for up to $5,751 in Earned Income Tax Credits.
Appointments begin January 23rd and run through April 17th. To set up an appointment today please call Pathfinder Community Connections at 260-355-2510 or e-mail them at taxprep@pathfinderservices.org.
