Coinciding with the longest day of the year, Victory Noll Center will hold a special celebration on Tuesday, June 19 with "Celebrating the Eve of the Summer Solstice" beginning at 8 p.m.
The evening starts with a special Taize service. The service, used by the community in Taize, France, is based on an ancient style found in the church, with songs, Psalms, a Gospel text, silence and prayers of intercession.
At 9 p.m., there will be a sunset walk of the Labyrinth at Victory Noll filled with reflections, poetry and prayer. In case the weather does not allow for walking outside, the walk will take place on the Center’s indoor Labyrinth.
There is no cost for the program, and no registration is required. All are welcome, and may attend either portion of the program or both the Taize service and Labyrinth walk.
Victory Noll Center is located at 1900 W. Park Drive in Huntington.
For more information about the program or Victory Noll Center, contact the Center at (260) 356-0628, ext. 174, or by e-mail at victorynollcenter@olvm.org. More information is also available on the Center's website at www.olvm.org/vncenter.
