Hospital Guild Elects New Officers

The Parkview Huntington Hospital Guild, meeting for the first time in 2012 on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the hospital, had the opportunity to see an extensive collection of Currier & Ives memorabilia during a presentation by Phyllis Fisher, who also shared her knowledge of the items with the group.
Following the program, Guild member Carol Strickler installed new officers for 2012. New officers elected are Phyllis Pieper, president; Vicki Patrick, vice president; Ethel Maples, treasurer; and Pat Hall, secretary.
Standing committee chairs for 2012 were also named, including: Lavona Petrie, membership; Betty Schoeff, publicity; Carol Strickler, scholarship; Charlotte Campbell, scrapbook; and Susan Smith, social.
Outgoing social committee chair Charlotte Campbell provided refreshments for the group.
The Guild’s next meeting will be Tuesday, May 22, at 2 p.m., in the hospital’s lower-level classrooms. Visitors and new members are always welcome. For more information, call Judy Fitzmaurice at (260) 355-3319.
