By Jennifer Hotchkiss on Thursday, April 28th, 2011 | Bookmark and Share

The Huntington Parks & Recreation Department will join forces with Clear Creek Golf Course to offer beginning golf lessons to ladies this summer.  The lessons will use SNAG (Starting New At Golf) equipment, which is specially designed for beginner golfers.  The lessons will instruct the ladies on proper techniques for putting, chipping, pitching and tee shots, as well as etiquette and the rules of the game.

There will be an additional class added this year just for ladies age 55 and over.  The Silver Ladies SNAG classes will meet on Wednesday mornings at Clear Creek Golf Course from 8:30 am to 10 am starting on June 1st and running for six weeks.  The Ladies (age 18+) SNAG classes will meet on Thursday evenings at Clear Creek from 7 pm to 8:30 pm starting on June 2nd and running for six weeks.  The fee for the six week session is $36.00 per person.  Please contact the Parks Department at 358-2323 for more information or to register for this program.  The class size is limited, so please call soon!
