Kiwanis members part of road cleanup

Tri Kappa to award scholarships

The State organization of Tri Kappa will award of variety of scholarships to college students throughout the state in the Spring. Each scholarship awarded is for $1,ooo. Since 1914 Tri Kappa has provided over $5 million in local and State scholarships.

Fred Stricker, a former teacher and principal at Lincoln Elementary, Northwest Elementary and also Central School in Huntington County, will be celebrating his 80th birthday on November 30th, 2009.
