4-H Shooting Sports classes to begin

The Huntington County 4-H Shooting Sports program begins on Sunday, February 5 with the first classroom meeting for the 4-H Pistol discipline from 2:00-4:30 pm in the Family Living Building, Hier’s Park, Huntington.  4-H members interested in taking the pistol classes and their parents must complete the necessary enrollment forms and pay the $20 registration fee and the $15 state 4-H Program fee no later than the February 5th classroom meeting... 2012 4-H Theme/Design Contest Winners

     The Huntington County 4-H Leaders Organization recently recognized the winners of the 2012 Huntington County 4-H Theme/Design Contest.  The following youth received recognition for their participation in this annual contest:

                1st place -  Cassie Hacker Lancaster Twp

               2nd place - Kayla Patrick, Clear Creek Twp

               3rd place -  Amanda Pugh, Wayne Twp

Honorable Mention - Olivia Ely, Jackson Twp and Heath Rush, Huntington Twp
