The Huntington County Extension Office would like to remind all 4-H members who plan to exhibit animals at the 82nd Annual Huntington County 4-H Fair that animal pre-entry/pen reservation forms are due no later than Monday, July 2 to the Purdue Extension – Huntington County Office. These pre-entry forms were mailed to all youth enrolled in beef, dairy, starter calf, rabbit, poultry, goat, sheep, and swine projects during the 3rd week of June and are necessary to assist the various 4-H Fair livestock superintendents in determining pens and housing assignments for all animals to be exhibited during the annual 4-H Fair.
Horse & pony pre-entry forms were distributed through 4-H club leaders and must be completed no later than Monday, July 2 and returned to the 4-H horse & pony club leaders.
Youth who did not receive these forms in the mail should contact the Purdue Extension – Huntington County Office immediately to complete these forms to ensure sufficient pen space for their animals and planning for the various animal shows during the Huntington County 4-H Fair.
The 82nd Annual Huntington County 4-H Fair will be held July 13-27, with the livestock entry and shows at Hier’s Park from July 20-25.
