Thanks to a new partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and the Walmart Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington has received a $10,000 grant to launch a new reading initiative that promotes both educational and leisure reading for adolescents. For the first time ever, the Boys & Girls Club will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. during the summer! Membership dues remain only $5.00 for the year, making the Club an affordable option for parents. The Boys & Girls Club of Huntington will hold its Steak ‘N Burger fundraiser and auction on Monday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m., dinner starts at 6:30 at Crestview Middle School, sponsored by Bippus State Bank and Markle Bank.

The Boys & Girls Club of Huntington and the City Parks Department are teaming up to celebrate Worldwide Day of Play. Worldwide Day of Play is in conjunction with Nickolodeon to encourage all chidren to turn off the television and go outside and play!
