The Huntington County Historical Society is seeking nominations from the community for the annual Virginia Miller Award. The award is presented to a person or persons whose efforts to preserve some aspect of Huntington County history should be recognized by the general public. A committee including past recipients of this award will choose this year’s winner. Nominations from the public are invited, and should be sent to the Huntington County Historical Museum, 315 Court Street, Huntington, IN 46750 by November 15, 2010. The award will be presented at the public and general membership meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.
