Huntington Co Historical Society Meeting

By Pat Bergdall on Friday, September 9th, 2011 | Bookmark and Share

On September 20, 2011, an open meeting of the Huntington County Historical Society will be held at the museum at 315 Court St., beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Ed and Teresa Plasterer, owners of Plasterer’s Antiques and Things, will offer antiques appraisals for a small fee to benefit the museum.  Each item will be assigned a number on a first-come basis, and owners are invited to tour the museum and enjoy free light refreshments until their number is called for a one-on-one valuation.  Large items may be photographed from all angles for review.  Appraisals will be noted in writing, and may be used for insurance purposes.  The meeting is open to the public.  There will be brief business meeting for members of the Historical Society to vote on proposed changes to the By-Laws, and all members are urged to attend.
