The Huntington County Historical Museum, located at 315 Court Street, is featuring a new temporary exhibit of Indiana Reef fossils collected and displayed by Brenden Rice. Brenden, a 10-year-old fifth grader at Roanoke School, began collecting fossils in 2007 with his grandfather, Jack Smith. Together they have cleaned, researched, and identified many rare and unusual fossils, all found in Huntington County.
The museum is open Wednesday through Friday from 10-4, and on Saturday from 1-4. Admission is by donation.
