The Johnson Junction stores on Guilford, Park Drive, and Old US24 worked exceptionally hard selling paper trees and hearts in support of McKenzie’s Hope this month. As a result of their efforts, they raised $2,300 for the Child Advocacy Center. On January 20th, McKenzie's Hope celebrated its Five Year Anniversary of opening its doors as a child friendly place for the investigations of child abuse. As a part of the celebration, McKenzie's Hope honored 12 donors who were added to the "Sun of Supporters" wall at McKenzie's Hope. These donors have made significant contributions to McKenzie's Hope over the last five years which has allowed McKenzie's Hope to continue to provide important services to the children in our community... Huntington, IN , July 22, 2009 - Vectren Foundation has generously awarded a $1,000 grant to McKenzie's Hope. The Foundation decided to provide the grant so that McKenzie's Hope could continue to provide a safe, child friendly location for investigations of child abuse in Huntington County . The grant will go towards the continuation of the Child Advocacy program, which seeks to ensure that children and families are provided high quality service during the process of child abuse investigations...
