Johnson Junctions Raises Funds

By Amber Kaushik on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 | Bookmark and Share

The Johnson Junction stores on Guilford, Park Drive, and Old US24 worked exceptionally hard selling paper trees and hearts in support of McKenzie’s Hope this month. As a result of their efforts, they raised $2,300 for the Child Advocacy Center. Community members were very supportive of the efforts of the Johnson Junction employees and many customers made multiple donations during the two week drive. McKenzie’s Hope would like to thank all of the Johnson Junction employees, as well as all the community members who purchased trees and hearts. These funds will help McKenzie’s Hope to provide a safe place for children to talk about difficult situations in their lives.

McKenzie's Hope is dedicated to providing a safe compassionate, child focused center to promptly and thoroughly investigate child abuse. The center coordinates a unified response to child abuse reports so that every child is treated with equal importance and care. If you would like more information please contact McKenzie’s Hope at 260-356-5730.
