Vectren presents $1K to McKenzie's Hope

Huntington, IN , July 22, 2009 - Vectren Foundation has generously awarded a $1,000 grant to McKenzie's Hope. The Foundation decided to provide the grant so that McKenzie's Hope could continue to provide a safe, child friendly location for investigations of child abuse in Huntington County . The grant will go towards the continuation of the Child Advocacy program, which seeks to ensure that children and families are provided high quality service during the process of child abuse investigations.

McKenzie's Hope is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, child-focused center to promptly and thoroughly investigate child abuse. The center coordinates a unified response to child abuse reports so that every child is treated with equal importance and care.
