Library carnival for reading club

The Main Library will host a two-day carnival for all reading club participants, birth to grade 6, who have reached the first level in their club. This includes participants who have read at least 6 books in the preschool – picture book club, or have read at least 4 books for the chapter book club. The carnival will be held on Thursday, July 29th from 1pm – 3:30 pm and from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, and continue on Friday, July 30th from 10am – Noon. No registration required – summer reading club participants are welcome to come anytime between the hours listed on the day most convenient for them. Free tickets for games will be awarded at the door. Parents are invited to bring a camera to take fun photos of their kids in action!
Those unable to attend the carnival may pick up their prize packets in the Children’s Department prize packets may be picked up in the Children’s Room on or after Monday, August 2nd . Prize packets must be picked up by 5pm on Saturday, August 28th. For more information, call the library at 356-0824.
Summer Reading Club Party @ the Markle Branch Library
The Markle Branch Library invites summer reading participants of all ages who have read at least one book for credit in the summer reading program to a Fun & Games party at 2pm on Friday, July 23rd. No registration is required to attend the party, and parents are invited to bring a camera to take fun photos of their kids in action!
Summer reading club members may pick up any remaining prizes at the Markle Branch on or after Monday, August 2nd. All prizes must be picked up by noon on Saturday, August 14th. For more information, call the Markle Branch at 260-758-3332.
A Reminder to Summer Reading Club participants of all ages:
Friday, July 23rd is the last day to check out books for summer reading club credit.
Saturday, July 24th is the last day to return books for summer reading club credit.
The Main Library is open from 9am - 5pm both days.
Markle Branch hours are 1pm – 7pm on Friday, July 23rd, and 9am – Noon on Saturday, July 24.
