Huntington Co. Extension Annual Meeting

The Huntington County Extension Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Heritage Hall, Hier’s Park at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be provided following the program.
The annual extension meeting will begin with a short business meeting. The agenda includes: election/appointment of board members, recognition of state and county Friend of Extension awardees, and highlights of Extension successes in the past year.
Following the business meeting, there will be a special program and display - Hungry Planet – What the World Eats. While some people in the world barely have enough to eat, others overeat to the point of illness. Find out how mealtime is changing in real homes by taking a tour around the world visiting family homes to see what they eat during the course of one week.
The Huntington County Extension Annual Meeting is open to all citizens of Huntington County, including individuals, families and other organizations who have been involved in the various educational programs. Purdue Extension strives to transform lives and livelihoods through research-based education.
