The Quayle Vice Presidential Learning Center will hold a charity designer purse bingo fundraiser on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Hall in Hiers Park. Participants may play 20 games for a $20.00 donation. Prizes include designer jewelry and purses.
In addition to the bingo, there will be a silent auction of designer purses, as well as a raffle. Space is limited. All proceeds benefit the Center’s educational programs and exhibits. The Learning Center educated nearly 10,000 school children during field trips and outreach programming this past school year.
Bingo tickets may be purchased in advance at the Quayle Center or at the door. For more information, please contact Executive Director, Daniel Johns or Executive Assistant, Maddie Shaw at 356-6356.
The Learning Center is a destination for visitors from around the country, as well as the world, to learn more about the history of the vice presidency and those who have served in the office. The Center provides educational programming for schoolchildren from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, as well as to New York. Twelve educational programs are offered for students in second grade through high school. Each program is unique, covering topics ranging from the history of the vice presidency to the workings of state and federal government.
