The United Way of Huntington County thanks Bippus State Bank for raising over $9,000 as a 2012 Pacesetter. One of many fundraisers included a Pizza Hut event with employees volunteering their time to wait on customers.

Breaking News: Mayor Fetters stopped for speeding while spreading the word about the 2012 United Way Campaign! The Mayor and LU were detained by Police Chief EJ Carroll for hot-rodding down Market Street.
Ok so it was all in fun but help the Mayor get the word out as the Campaign gets kicked off!!

Jenna Strick has been hired as Executive Director of United Way of Huntington County, effective January 1. Pat Horoho, former Executive Director will be retiring in April. We wish both Jenna and Pat the best of luck.

Northwest students and staff recently participated in their United Way campaign. As a part of their campaign a “Kiss a Pig” contest was held. Students placed their vote for the teacher they wished to kiss the pig. The teacher with the most money was the lucky winner. The United Way held their thank you luncheon Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 at St. Peter’s First Community Church. The luncheon was to thank all who were involved with the 2009 Campaign (donors and volunteers) and to wrap up of the 2009 Campaign.
