Kiss the Pig

Four local agency leaders and a pig have decided to ban together to raise funds for the 2010 United Way Campaign. Jan Williams of Youth Services Bureau, Mike Rohler of the American Red Cross, Dan Akeley of the YMCA, and Mandy Reber of the Boys and Girls Club have entered a competition in which the winner actually loses. Buckets with their pictures are stationed at their organizations as well as Teacher’s Credit Union and Beacon Credit Union. The public decides who will kiss a pig by placing money in the individual’s corresponding bucket. The bucket which has the most money in it by Oct. 8 will determine who smooches a pig.”
