VFW Joint Installation of Officers

Huntington VFW Post 2689 held the Installation of Officers for the 2011-2012 term on Thursday, May 19, 7pm at the Post Home.
Rodney Funk was the Installing Officer for the VFW Membership. The newly installed Officers for the VFW Membership are:Mike Smith, Commander; Bennie Sams, Senior Vice Commander; Rick Stell, Junior Vice Commander; Chaplain, Jerry Walling;Surgeon/Service Officer, Dustin Howell; Quartermaster, Leslie Ackermann; Adjutant, Robert Barr; Post Advocate, Rodney Funk;Guard, Jeff Dimond; Trustee One Year, Harold Bennett; Trustee Two Year, Bruce Stanton; Trustee Three Year, Dale Howell;House Committee One Year, Rich Sutton; House Committee Two Year, John Block; House Committee Three Year, Carl Sandlin. Karen Sandlin was the Installing Officer for the Ladies Auxiliary. The newly installed Officers for the Ladies Auxiliary are:Lois Hall, President; Senior Vice President, Karen Sandlin, Junior Vice President, Susie Draper; Secretary, Sondra Howell;Treasurer, Phyllis Hall; Conductress, Pauline Gearhart; 3 Year Trustee, Jane Burkhart and Guard, Kay Bartrom. Rodney Funk was the Installing Officer for the Post 2689 Men’s Auxiliary. The newly installed officers for the Men’s Auxiliaryare: Steve Garwood, President; Senior Vice President, Jim Fisher; Junior Vice President, Joe Burkhart; Secretary, James Kneller;Treasurer, Andy Okuly; 3 Year Trustee, Keith Tobin and Guard, Victor Claus. All Office Holders term takes effect on June 18th, following the installation of the Indiana State Commander.Comments...
