The YWCA Northeast Indiana’s shelter for victims of domestic violence will be getting new furniture and repainting thanks to a $20,000 donation from 1st Source Bank.

According to the Drug Enforcement Agency in 2010 Indiana ranked 2nd in the number of Meth clandestine lab incidents. Of the 11,239 incidents nationally, Indiana accounted for 1,213 of those incidents. In Northeast Indiana there were 356 incidents. Indiana State Police and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute state that Meth is costing Hoosier nearly $100 million a year... Read More...

In 2010 the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) received 11,874 calls of which 84 from form Indiana with 4 of those being from Fort Wayne. Human Trafficking includes sex and labor trafficking is a global problem that has now reached Northeast Indiana.
