Delores Mae (Doe) Hunnicutt

Delores Mae (Doe) Hunnicutt, 92 ,of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 2:15 AM, on Tuesday, July  7, 2009 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.  She was born on Thursday, July 20, 1916, in Upland, IN. Doe was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church in Montpelier, IN.  Doe and her husband, Russell were engaged in farming and owned and operated Hunnicutt's Small Engine Service, in Jackson Twp., Wells County.  Doe had been a Jackson Twp., Wells County resident for many years.

She married Russell H. 'Buss'  Hunnicutt on December 22, 1934 in Marion, Indiana.
She was the daughter of the late Alvin Monroe Glascock and the late Stella Lavina (Berry) Glascock.

Survivors include: Daughter-Mary Ann (husband, Wayne) Jackson of Warren, IN., six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, six great great granchildren and sister-in-law-Gladys Glascock .

She was preceded in Death by: husband-Russell H. 'Buss' Hunnicutt; father-Alvin Monroe Glascock; mother-Stella Lavina (Berry) Glascock, brothers-Chester Henderson, Carl Henderson, Preston Glascock and Alvin Glascock; sisters- Infant Stella Glascock, 21 month old Mary Alice Glascock, Iva Buckland, Thelma McHenry, Celesta Ellen Louck, Margaret Vivian Rodgers and son Russell Hunnicutt. 

Arrangements are being handled by Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at Glancy-H.Brown & Son Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2009 , with Pastor Kathie Jones and Pastor Harold Jones officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Montpelier, IN.
