Special O. Invitational A Success

The 6th Annual Huntington County Schools Special Olympics Basketball Invitational was a huge success. The event included 30 teams from 12 counties and over 300 athletes. The success of the event would not have been possible without the support of Huntington County business and volunteers.

Ed Hippensteel Benefit

A Big Thank You to each and everyone who helped make Ed Hippensteel's Benefit a HUGE SUCESS at American Legion Post #7 on Oct. 22 2011 and to appoligize to any one who did not get a Potato as we did run out. We had 200#s and most of the volenteers  didn't even get one including my self and Scarlotte Garity who worked hard at putting this Benifit on, There are way to many Bussiness to mention each and every one but you know who you are and all of the people who came forward with donations to help and to Huntington Free Press for running this Benefit for us for a couple weeks again a BIG THANK YOU SALLY A GAMBLE
