Thank You from Extension Homemakers

By Earlynn Worster on Friday, February 10th, 2012 | Bookmark and Share

A ‘Thank You’ goes out to the many cookie and candy shoppers who attended our sale in December. The Huntington County Extension Homemakers held their ‘9th Annual Cookie and Candy Sale’ Dec. 9 and it was a total success. We were able to donate $250 to the Huntington Community Food Pantry.

Many THANKS also go out to the Senior Center for allowing us to use their facility, Niswander’s for advertising on their marque and the Youth Services for purchasing our ‘leftovers’.

This year we will be celebrating our 10th year of Cookie and Candy sales. We are planning to offer cookie trays again and will be working on some special extras!

Thanks again to everyone who has helped with this project. Your generosity allows us to reach out and help others in our community.

Earlynn Worster, Ways and Means Committee Chair.
