Vikings to Host Snider in Opening Round

The Huntington North Vikings will look to extend their season this Friday night as they host the highly ranked Snider Panthers in the opening round of the IHSAA 5A tournament. HU women finish 3rd, men take 10th

For the second consecutive tournament, the Forester women’s bowling team finished in the top three by claiming 3rd out of 21 teams at the Tier II Boilermaker Classic at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl over the weekend. It also marks their third top three finish in four outings.

Maple Leafs bring HU`s season to an end

Despite an inspired performance Saturday night, the Forester men’s soccer team’s season came to an abrupt ending as they conceded a 3-2 loss to Goshen College in the league’s last regular season contest.

HU volleyball goes 1-2 in Iowa

The HU volleyball team packed their bags and headed to Iowa for the weekend where they went 1-2 to move to 6-19 overall.

Baker`s hat trick paces HUWS

Courtney Baker scored within the first 20 seconds on Saturday to give her team a lead that would never be challenged as the Forester women’s soccer team enjoyed a lopsided 5-0 win over the Goshen College Maple Leafs on senior day at King Stadium.

Foresters compete in Challenge

With two weeks until the Cross League Championships, Saturday’s race, the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, was a good gauge for the Forester cross country teams to see where they stand among their league foes.

HUMS gives up goal in 81st minute

Playing in their last regular season home match, the HU men’s soccer team gave up a goal in the 81st minute to drop a 1-0 decision to the University of Saint Francis Wednesday afternoon at King Stadium.

Foresters take Taylor to five sets

Up against one of the top teams in the league, the Forester volleyball team stretched the match to five sets before dropping a 3-2 decision to the Trojans of Taylor University, 25-12, 19-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-10, Wednesday night at Odle Gymnasium.

Vikings hosted Lafayette Jefferson on Friday night to wrap up the regular season on senior night. The Vikings continued their good play of late knocking off Jeff for their third win in a row and finishing the regular season 5-4, 4-2 in the ncc.

Freshman middle blocker Josie Beaver had a big weekend at the St. Francis (IL) Big Guns Classic and for her efforts was one of six players to be named to the All-Tournament Team.
