The Huntington University men’s basketball team will host their tenth annual summer basketball camp June 25-29 at the Merillat Complex Main Gymnasium. Cost to attend is $70 if you register by June 1, $80 after June 1. K-9th graders (boys and girls) are welcome to attend.

The Viking tennis team fell in the Sectional final 2-3. Taryn Wuennsch won the number one singles match and the number one double team of Jericho Parrett and Macy Phillips also won their match. Parrett and Phillips move on to regional play on Wednesday at Homestead.

The Vikings hosted Anderson in the NCC double header and sweeping the Indians. The Vikings won game 1 8-2. Evan Brown Homered and picked up 2 rbi’s and Kendall Whitman went 2 for 4 on the day with 3 rbi’s. Trevor Storie moved to 10-0 on the year with a 1.18 era.

The JV softball team move to 18-4 on the year by taking two from Kokomo on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tori Newsome was the winning pitcher in Tuesday’s 15-5 victory. Ariene Butler claimed a conference title in the Shot Put, and a runner-up in the Long jump to lead the CMS girls 7th grade track team to a 4th place finish on Saturday at Plymouth.
