Local man hits it big. Huntington Native Bob Johnston won the Huntington Free Press March Madness Contest.
Mr Johnston came from behind and passed Drew Henly for the win by picking Duke to win the National Championship in the final game.

The Varsity Eagles and Varsity Lady Eagles traveled to the National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships in Springfield, Missouri. This tournament hosted over 350 Home School basketball teams from all over the country in 5 different age categories for Boys & Girls. The Huntington 7th Grade Junior Vikes boys basketball team captured their second straight tournament championship on Saturday by winning the Wawasee Hoopfest in Syracuse. The Jr Vikes won four games against a field of nine teams to run their record to 8 - 0 on the season.
