HU basketball camp slated for June 25-29

The Huntington University men’s basketball team will host their tenth annual summer basketball camp June 25-29 at the Merillat Complex Main Gymnasium.  Cost to attend is $70 if you register by June 1, $80 after June 1. K-9th graders (boys and girls) are welcome to attend.

Lady Eagles Win Final Game

The Huntington Lady Eagles won their final game at the National Tournament with a 63-38 victory over the SATCH Maverick from Texas.  The win gave them 3rd place in their bracket and 27th place overall in the nation.

Lady Eagles Fall Short in Game 2

The Huntington Lady Eagles fell short in game 2 of bracket play in the National Homeschool basketball tournament.  They were defeated by Kansas City Metro Mavericks 55-41.  Kansas City hit 10 3’s on their way to victory.

Lady Eagles win 1st Game in Bracket Play

The Huntington Lady Eagles won their first game in the 3A bracket at the National Homeschool basketball tournament.  They defeated the HCYA Warriors from Houston 56-33.  They had three players in double figures and led the whole game.  Catherine Weaver scored 18, Kaleigh Shultz hit 4 of 10 from 3 point land to score 12 points and Abby Ballinger added 11... Eagles Hold Alumni Game

The Huntington Eagles hosted an alumni game at Salamonie School in Warren.  The Lady Eagles returned 8 former players and the boys returned 17 players.  It was a great night of fun and action with the alumni showing they could still get in done on the court.  The Lady Eagles defeated the alumni team 54-41 while the Eagles alumni defeated the boy’s team 73-69...
