Lafayette In state singles finals Saturday morning at Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette, Lady Viking senior Ayla Yeiter rolled games of 189-125-181 for a three game series of 495 to finish 13th out of 18 bowlers. Lafayette The Huntington North Lady Vikings fell just short of their third state championship Saturday evening at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette. In singles at the Muncie regional, three Huntington North bowlers advanced to the semi-state. Lady Viking Alyssa Pricket finished 6th with 550 and Ayla Yeiter 8th with 525 to advance. Viking Adam Harris-Shoemaker finished 5th with 644 to advance, only one pin out of the stepladder finals. Shoemaker threw seven in a row to end his last game that helped him advance... Read More...

The defending state champion and top ranked Vikings had their work cut out against a tough ten team field that included Anderson, Alexandria, Noblesville, Muncie Central, Oak Hill, Bluffton, Elwood and Eastbrook. Only the top four teams advanced to the Anderson semi-state.
