CARROLL LEADS VIKING BOWLERS TO 3-0

The Huntington North Viking bowlers improved to 3-0 by defeating Southern Wells 19-1 Saturday afternoon at Haworth Lanes in Berne. The Vikings, with their highest two-game total of the season, controlled the entire match, losing only one individual match. Senior Tyler Carroll had a 485 two-game total.

In game one, the Vikings had four bowlers over 200 in route to an 1123 game total. Connor Brown had 245 to lead the Vikes. Tyler Carroll also rolled 231, Tyler Krepp 225 and Eli Little 223. Zac Tackett had 199.

In game two, Carroll led the Vikes with 254 followed by Krepp’s 237, take Little’s 191, Brown’s 189 and Adam Shoemaker with 176.

High scores for Southern Wells were Kyle Vaught had 180 and 196, Kory Miller 194 and 175 and Don Bittner 184.

In the first of two Baker position rounds this season, the Vikings will take on Bellmont(2-0) Tuesday afternoon at The Bowling Center in Bluffton, beginning at 4:15pm.
