Garrett High School standout Casandra Griffith signed her letter of intent to bowl for Huntington University Lady Foresters bowling team this fall.
Griffith, a right handed bowled from Garrett, Indiana, is the first Garrett student to bowl on the collegiate level and the fourth Lady Forester recruit for coach Jim Bischoff. She qualified for regional in 2010.
“Casandra will be a great addition to our team. She brings consistency, a great game and a lot of energy to the collegiate level. I’m excited that Casandra will be bowling for HU this fall”, said Coach Jim Bischoff.
Huntington University women’s and men’s teams will compete in intercollegiate bowling beginning the 2012-13 season. For information about Huntington Univeristy and the Huntington Univeristy bowling program contact coach Jim Bischoff at jbischoff@huntington.edu.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
